I began this work in progress during the summer of 2021. It involves creating a performance art piece centered around the act of planting trees or plants, resulting in an installation-sculpture.
The installations are specifically designed for each location, aiming to establish a dialogue with the surrounding environment where the tree or plant is being planted.
For example:

-Planting a tree to provide shade for sheep in an enclosure.

-Planting native vegetation in an abandoned ruin, creating an installation that can be explored and experienced by both animals and humans.

-The soil that is excavated during the planting process is repurposed to create a sculpture inspired by an organic form (either human or non-human) that remains in the same location where the soil was originally excavated.

All trees and plants used in this project must be native vegetation.
