This work in progress started as part of an artist residency at LMCC Arts Center at Governors Island. The project proposes the creation of a queer utopia in a post-apocalyptic world after a global environmental crisis, highlighting through speculative fiction how cishetero-patriarchal and colonialism led to relations of domination and exploitation of the planet by humans and imagining a future of new intertwined human-nature relationships from an eco-queer perspective. The project is part of a series of Andrés Senra's latest works on queer futurism.
